This beguiling family comedy carries us back to the 60's, Vatican II, the Late Late Show & introduces us to the Murphys: Mom, Dad & their four children - Eddie, Annie, Mikie & the hero of our tale, 12-year old Tommy, a precocious kid who's starting to question family values & the Roman Catholic Church. He believes God put us on earth to "have fun", & he's trying to figure out why his family isn't having any.

This Production is a collaboration with Playhouse of American Classics & is presented in the chamber theatre tradition & style.
The story revolves around the fun-loving, free-spirited Mame, whose life becomes transformed when she becomes the guardian of her nephew, Patrick. Set in New York City, the show spans the Roaring '20s through the stock market crash & beyond. There's something for everyone in this musical - a little Christmas, a little romance, lots of life! "Life is a banquet & most poor suckers are starving to death."
